Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rekoata (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS mobile application. Rekoata is a fleet maintenance organizer for aviation, land, and maritime operations, published under the Timete name.

Summary

  • No Rekoata account — no sign-in service or central cloud database for your work.
  • Local storage — notes, lists, shifts, parts, and related content stay on your device unless you export a backup.
  • No advertising SDKs — we do not show ads or sell your data.
  • No analytics — we do not send usage data to Timete servers for tracking.
  • Subscriptions — if you subscribe to Rekoata Pro, payment and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat (see below).

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for Rekoata is the operator of Timete. Contact support@timete.lu for privacy enquiries.

Information stored on your device

Content you enter (notes, lists, shifts, to-dos, references, parts, and related records) is stored locally in an encrypted database on your device. We do not receive it unless you email us for support.

Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data from your device.

Backups

You may create encrypted backup files from Settings. You choose the passphrase; we cannot recover it. Optional iCloud mirroring on iOS uses Apple’s sync — we do not host that data.

Subscriptions and purchases

If you purchase Rekoata Pro, Apple processes payment. We use RevenueCat to validate entitlements and unlock paid features. RevenueCat and Apple may process identifiers related to your purchase (for example App Store transaction data and an anonymous app user ID). We do not receive your full payment card details or your maintenance records.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Support email

If you contact us, we receive your message and email address so we can reply. Do not send passwords or backup passphrases.

What we do not collect

  • No account registration with email or password in the app
  • No central cloud database of your work content
  • No third-party analytics or advertising networks in the app
  • No sale of personal information

Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Contract — processing needed to provide the app and subscriptions you request
  • Legitimate interests — securing and operating the service, preventing abuse, and improving reliability
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law

Retention

Work data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and meet legal obligations.

Children

Rekoata is for professional maintenance operations and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact support@timete.lu. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
