About these terms

SacredSpeak is provided by Alper Sentürk, an independent developer. Timete is the name of this website and app collection; it is not a company or a separate legal entity. These terms explain the conditions for using the app.

Questions can be sent to support@timete.lu. The privacy policy explains data handling; accepting these terms is not a substitute for consent to optional data processing.

Reading, questions and perspectives

SacredSpeak brings together source texts, AI-assisted questions, comparison tools and saved passages. It is intended for learning and personal reflection. It does not speak on behalf of a religion, religious institution or historical figure.

Names and figures in the interface provide a way to explore source traditions. Conversations are generated software experiences, not communication with the named person or an official religious ruling.

Using AI thoughtfully

AI can select irrelevant passages, misread context or produce inaccurate explanations. A citation is a starting point to check, not a guarantee of correctness. Read the linked source and its surrounding text, and consider the translation or edition used.

Comparison views can highlight differences without representing every interpretation within a tradition. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for a consequential personal decision. Report an inaccurate answer or reference so it can be investigated.

The app asks for permission before sending an AI request to external processing services. The privacy policy explains that flow. Do not submit other people’s confidential information or use the service to harass people, distribute unlawful material or bypass its safeguards.

Paid packages and question allowances

No paid service is currently offered. Paid packages are planned for a future release. The information below describes the planned purchase flow and, where present, test-build purchase integration; it is not a current offer.

The purchase screen and Apple’s confirmation show the price, billing period, included features and any trial before you buy. Prices can vary by country and currency. Do not rely on a website screenshot as a current offer.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal under Apple’s displayed terms. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases with the Apple Account used to buy them; restoring access does not restore locally stored content.

You can request a refund from Apple. Eligibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law. Any mandatory cancellation, refund or digital-content rights you have remain unaffected.

Packages can have different features and question allowances. The app shows the allowance and any reset information for the package you select. A paid package does not imply unlimited use. Internet access and service availability affect online questions.

If a request fails or an allowance appears incorrect, contact support with the approximate time, app version and package name. We will investigate; do not assume that deleting the app will reset an allowance.

Texts, saved items and your content

You may use the app on compatible devices as allowed by these terms and the applicable App Store rules. You retain rights to content you create. We do not acquire ownership of your notes, wishes or questions.

The app’s code, branding and original design remain protected. Do not redistribute the app, infringe other people’s rights, bypass paid-access controls or interfere with its security. This does not restrict uses or exceptions that applicable law expressly permits.

Source texts and translations may have separate licences and attribution requirements. Availability can vary by language or edition. Being able to read or share a passage in the app does not grant unrestricted rights to redistribute an entire edition.

Your saved notes and chat history are stored locally. Keep any copies you need before clearing content or removing the app. Paid-access restoration does not recover local conversations or notes.

Availability and consumer rights

The app should work as described and we will use reasonable care in providing it. Software can have faults; if something is wrong, contact support so we can investigate.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. Where applicable, rights relating to defective digital content or services may include correction, a proportionate price reduction or ending the contract. We do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Source catalogues and online processing depend on availability and licensing. If a change affects a paid service, your applicable rights to a remedy remain in place.

Updates and ending use

We may release updates to improve the app, maintain compatibility or address security and legal requirements. Features can vary by version. A description of a planned feature is not a promise that it is available now.

If a change materially affects paid access or these terms, we will give appropriate notice and explain any choices or remedies required by law. A new fee requires a purchase you authorise. You can stop using the app at any time; cancel any subscription separately through Apple.

Law and getting in touch

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in your country of residence remain available. Contact support first if you would like us to try to resolve a problem; this does not limit your legal rights.
