Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This notice covers visits to timete.lu and website enquiries. Our apps have separate privacy notices linked below.

Who is responsible

Alper Sentürk, an independent developer, is the controller of personal data processed for this website. Timete is the name of this website and app collection, not a company or separate legal entity. Contact support@timete.lu for privacy questions or requests.

What a visit involves

This is an informational website, with no sign-in, checkout, advertising or third-party analytics. It does not set cookies or use browser storage for tracking. Fonts and website assets are served from our own website; opening a page does not request fonts from Google.

To deliver pages and protect the service, the server processes connection information including your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser information and, when sent by your browser, the referring page. Avoid putting personal information in URLs. Our legitimate interests in providing a reliable, secure website are the legal basis for this processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Email enquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. We use these to answer and investigate your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or Article 6(1)(b) where necessary for a service or pre-contractual step you request. Handling statutory privacy requests is based on Article 6(1)(c). Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Contacting us is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough information to answer. We do not use support messages for marketing.

Providers and recipients

The website is hosted on a Hostinger VPS. Hosting and email infrastructure providers process the technical data and correspondence needed to provide their services. Hostinger describes its processing in its privacy policy. Data may also be disclosed where legally required, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell visitor information.

Provider operations and support can involve processing outside the EEA. We do not represent this service as EU-only storage. You can request information about the transfer arrangements relevant to your data at the contact address above.

How long information is kept

Website access logs on the front-facing server rotate daily, retaining up to 14 rotated files plus the active log. The application server uses size-limited rolling logs, up to three files of 10 MB, so their duration varies with traffic. These settings describe our web-server logs, not a promise that every infrastructure record or provider backup is erased at the same time. Relevant records may be preserved longer to investigate a specific security incident or meet a legal obligation.

Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the enquiry and related follow-up. Relevant messages may be retained longer for an outstanding dispute or legal obligation; otherwise they are deleted when no longer needed. We assess retention according to the nature of the request and whether it remains unresolved.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including website logging, on grounds relating to your situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email support@timete.lu. Describe your request without sending an identity document unless we specifically need limited verification. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. If a request is complex or numerous, an extension of up to two further months may apply; we will explain the reason within the first month. We do not need to collect extra identifying data solely to identify a visitor in logs.

You may complain to the supervisory authority in your habitual residence, workplace or place of the alleged infringement, including Luxembourg’s CNPD.

Links, security and automated decisions

Following an external link, such as an App Store or provider link, takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Our pages do not embed those services. We use HTTPS for connections to this website. We do not profile visitors or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using automated processing.
