Who is responsible

Alper Sentürk is the independent developer responsible for ApronBoard and the controller of personal data processed to operate it. Timete is the name used to publish these apps.

For questions or privacy requests, contact support@timete.lu. This notice covers the app and app support. Visits to timete.lu are covered by the website privacy policy.

Information held on your phone

ApronBoard stores the information you enter for personal organisation: aircraft and fleet details, shift and roster entries, tasks, checklists, notes, references, parts information and preferences. The app uses a local encrypted database.

In the current release, this work content stays on your phone. It is not uploaded to an ApronBoard server. You do not need an ApronBoard account, and the app does not currently offer cloud sync or an automatic cloud-backup service.

Optional online features may be introduced in a future release. If that happens, their data handling will be explained before you choose to enable them. This policy does not treat planned features as currently available.

Permissions and device tools

Where you enable a device feature, its permission is used for that feature—for example, notifications for reminders or access to a file you choose to import. Review or revoke permissions in iPhone Settings.

We do not use your work content for advertising, sell personal data or include third-party advertising trackers. A purchase connection does not upload your aircraft or maintenance notes.

Payments and purchase verification

Apple handles App Store payments. RevenueCat checks purchase receipts and subscription entitlements so the app can unlock the features you bought. This involves an app user identifier, transaction and product identifiers, purchase dates, subscription status and technical information needed by the purchase service. These identifiers can be personal data even when they do not contain your name.

We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase verification does not require the content you create in the app. See Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Files you export or share

If you export or share content, you choose its destination. A file saved to Files, email or another app is then handled by that service. We do not automatically receive exported files.

Where your installed version offers an encrypted backup export, keep the file and its passphrase securely. We cannot recover a forgotten passphrase. A manual export is different from automatic cloud sync; choosing a cloud destination in the iOS share sheet is your own file-storage choice.

Do not assume that a subscription restore, reinstall or phone change will recover your work. Keep a usable export before removing the app or replacing your phone.

Retention and deletion

Local entries remain until you delete them or remove their local storage. Delete content using the app’s controls. Removing the app does not remove previously exported files, copies held by other apps or Apple purchase records.

Purchase records and identifiers are retained as needed to manage entitlements, restore access, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Apple and RevenueCat apply their own retention practices. Restoring a purchase restores eligible access, not your local database.

Support correspondence

When you email support, we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to attach. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Our email service processes this correspondence for delivery and storage.

Send only what is needed. Remove personal or confidential information and other people’s details from screenshots. Support does not need your password, payment card number or backup passphrase.

We retain messages as needed to investigate and resolve your request, handle related follow-up and comply with legal obligations. We delete them when they are no longer needed for these purposes.

Purposes, legal bases and providers

Where GDPR applies, we use contract necessity for the app services, purchase verification and support you request; legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting; and legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law. Optional processing that requires consent will be presented separately.

Apple, RevenueCat and our email provider may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their linked policies explain their international processing and safeguards. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your request.

Your controls and privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data we hold about you. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

We cannot retrieve or remotely erase content held only on your device. Use the app’s data controls for that content. For data we hold, email support@timete.lu; we may ask for limited information to verify the request. We normally respond within one month, and will explain any lawful extension.

You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including Luxembourg’s Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).

Younger users

ApronBoard is intended for aviation professionals and is not directed at children under 13. Do not send personal information about children in work notes or support messages unless you are authorised and it is necessary. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal data to support.

Changes to this policy

We update this notice when the app or its data practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be brought to your attention in the app or through another suitable notice; we will ask for consent where required.
